Garden design and landscaping We will initially conduct a site survey – looking at the property’s situation, soil types, drainage and existing features. And then we will need to have a good chat to gain a thorough understanding of your needs and the ideas you have for your garden. Following this we will present you with 3D ‘perspectives’ of our design suggestions. Where available, we use your architect’s digital design files to create our designs, making for exceptionally accurate designs and allowing you to better visualise the final creation. Once the design and planting lists are agreed we will present you with a quote for the project. This will include the project management of and fees for any sub-contractors needed for hard-landscaping or garden features that require specialist skills. We project manage the creation of your garden in all its details – constructing focal points, entertainment areas and water features, and of course sourcing and planting up the site. New builds / renovations If you are busy building a new house or doing major renovations, we would advise you to bring us in at the planning stages of the building. Consideration can then be given to crucial things such as drainage systems, storm water drainage, paving and entertainment areas, the provision of irrigation lines and of electricity for garden lighting or water features. Leaving this until after your house has been completed, can add a lot of inconvenience and cost to building your garden, and hinder the integration of your outdoor and your indoor living space. Garden make-overs If your garden is in need of a revamp, we will happily come in and assess the state of the existing plants and features.
